Flagstaff Weather: 288 glorious days of sunshine a year. 22 inches of rain and 108 inches of snow. The warmest months are June-August, with average high temperatures in the low to mid 80s. The cooler months are December through March, with average highs in the low to mid 40s. The low temperatures daily average about 30 degrees below the highs for the day.

Summer – Beautiful! Some warm days but, oh, so nice compared to the heat of Phoenix. Cooler temperatures in the evening. Thunder and lightning storms are active in July and half of August.

Fall – Gorgeous!  Gorgeous! Lots of color. Turning leaves everywhere. Especially on the mountains, featuring the famous stands of Aspens. Hiking, sightseeing and photography opportunities galore.

Winter – Awsome!  Cold and snowy but mostly sunny. Many great winter activities abound in the area. Skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing are very close, as are dining adventures within walking distance, with warm ambience and culinary delights.

Spring – Scenic and colorful!  Lots of wild flowers. Nature paints with all the colors of the rainbow. As always, photographers and outdoor enthusiests will find plenty to do. Temperatures are still cool.

Visitor Tips:  To feel your best, at high altitude, drink lots of water, apply sunscreen and moisturizers frequently.  Listen to your body, and rest as often as necesary.
